2.35. Pistons and rods

 To remove or disconnect

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil pallet 125, oil pump 137, head of cylinders 29.
2. To lower the piston 160 in the lowest situation. To remove a fillet on a cylinder mirror.
3. To uncover 157 bottom heads and loose leaves 158 shatunny bearings. Previously to mark details with serial number of the cylinder.
4. A rod 159 with the piston 160. To establish previously on shatunny bolts protective plugs. To clear an internal surface of cylinders by means of a fabric moistened in oil.

To establish or attach

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Pistons 160 with rods 159.
To establish the piston in the assembly J-8037 adaptation for compression of piston rings and to shift it in the cylinder, slightly tapping on the piston bottom. The arrow should be directed on the bottom of the piston to a forward part of the engine. To establish rods 159 on necks of a cranked shaft 119.
Prevention

Before assembly to grease all details.

2. To establish loose leaves of 158 shatunny bearings and to fix covers of 157 rods (according to their preliminary marking).
Prevention

Loose leaves, necks of a shaft and a cover should be oiled. To use only new shatunny bolts.

3. To tighten shatunny bolts the moment of 25 Nanometers, then in addition to tighten turn on 30 °.
4. Oil pump 137, oil pallet 125, head of cylinders 29.
