2.30.1. Work of pushers

GENERAL INFORMATION

Oil is brought to a pusher through a lateral opening in the case of a pusher which is connected to a flute and an opening in a plunzher. Then oil passes through dosing-out valve of a pusher and on the channel of a bar of a pusher moves to the valve lever. During pusher moving under the influence of a camshaft cam the return ball valve sits down on a saddle and locks oil in a cavity under a plunzher. Thus the case of a pusher and a plunzher move as a single whole. A sleeve of a plunzher, moving a pusher bar, opens the valve. Under the influence of resistance of a klapanny spring there is a small leakage of oil from a cavity of a plunzher through radial gaps. Because of it the plunzher receives also small moving concerning the pusher case. In a valve closing-time the pusher lowers ся. When the valve sits down on a saddle, the spring of a plunzher quickly returns it in a starting position. Thus the return ball valve opens and passes oil in a cavity of a plunzher. Thus, gaps in a valve drive are eliminated.
