The system of ignition includes the storage battery, the distributor, the lock of ignition, a spark plug and a chain of a low and high voltage.

On the majority of engines the contactless distributor about an electron by ny regulation of a corner of an advancing of the ignition, uniting in itself all elements of system of ignition is established. The coil of ignition is located in a cover of the distributor and connected by a brush to a begunok. Some engines are equipped with the distributor and the ignition coil in separate execution.

The magnetoelectric sensor which forms operating impulses is built in the distributor of ignition and submits them on an entrance of the electronic block of ignition. The sensor consists of a rotor with constant magnets and the inductive coil. The corner of an advancing of ignition is regulated by engine EBU on signals from the various sensors supervising power setting. On a case of refusal of EBU the duplicating system of regulation of a corner of an advancing of ignition is provided. In this distributor vacuum and mechanical regulators are not used.

Wires of a high voltage consist of the wire conductor impregnated with carbon structure and placed in isolation from silicone rubber. Diameter of wires of 8 mm. The material of isolation of wires well maintains high temperatures and provides reliable electric isolation of a high voltage. Sealing caps are put on candles from silicone rubber. At dismantle it is necessary to unscrew a protective cap on 1/2 turns. At connection with a candle control a lamp or other sensors it is necessary to show care. It is impossible to insert anything with effort between a cap of a candle and a wire or to pierce wire isolation. All connections should be carried out by means of special adapters parallel to the main chains. It is forbidden to pull for a wire of a high voltage to remove it from a candle tip. Wires should be removed, putting effort to a cap or using the special tool.

On all engines, except engines with aluminum heads of cylinders, spark plugs with a conic sealing facet (without a sealant of ny rings) are applied. Resistance is built in spark plugs for reduction of electromagnetic hindrances. In usual operation of the car the Engine works at various modes: idling, at low, average and high turns of a cranked shaft. For normal work of spark plugs it is necessary to maintain periodically the Engine with full loading at high frequency of rotation of a shaft. It provides removal from candles of a deposit and other deposits which are intensively formed at operation of the engine idling or on unsteady modes, characteristic for city operation of the car. The central electrode of a candle is in an insulator made of a heat-resistant ceramic material. The insulator is condensed in the case of a candle and prevents charge breakdown on "weight" at which ignition is broken. It is not necessary to take wrongly for breakdown or short circuit on '"weight" the crown category which is shown in a steady blue luminescence of an insulator about an edge of the case of a candle. The crown category is a consequence of a high tension of an electromagnetic field of a candle and does not affect in any way work of system of ignition. Usually crown category becomes visible only in the dark. As a result of existence of the crown category on an insulator about the case of a candle there can be the characteristic pure ring site which sometimes is wrongly taken for a consequence of break of gases between an insulator and the case of a candle.

The mechanical lock of ignition is located on the right side of a steering column under a steering wheel. The electric contact part of the lock of ignition is executed separately from the mechanical cylinder zapirayushche го devices.
