Prevention

EBU does not define absolute value of a corner of an advancing of ignition. He counts only correction of rather originally established (base) value of a corner of an advancing of ignition. For this reason the wrong initial installation of the moment of ignition leads to the general shift of the moments of ignition on all power setting.

Check and installation of an initial corner of an advancing of ignition is made as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To start and warm up the Engine idling to normal working temperature.

2. To switch off the Engine and to connect among themselves plugs A and B of the diagnostic socket.

3. To check installation of an advancing of ignition by means of a stroboscope connected to a wire of a high voltage of a candle of the first cylinder.
