GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

The steering column is subject to dismantle only in the following cases:

– the steering column demands replacement;
– the case for fastening of the lock of ignition and the blocking device of a steering shaft demands replacement;
– other cases of repair connected with removal from the car of a steering column.

To remove or disconnect

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Negative wire of the battery.
2. Control levers indexes of turns and screen wiper.
3. Electric conducting.
4. A flexible cable of the blocking device of the selector of ranges of a transmission and the ignition lock (only for cars with automatic transmission).
5. To establish a steering wheel in the neutral situation corresponding to rectilinear movement of the car.
6. To turn out a coupling bolt of klemmovy connection of the coupling of a steering shaft.
7. To turn out a bolt of fastening of an arm of a steering column to the dashboard.
8. Sreznye of a plate under the dashboard.
8а. Накернить head of the left srezny bolt.
8б. To drill an opening a special drill for extraction of bolts (diameter of a drill 1/8" – 3,175 mm).
8в. To insert into the drilled opening the N1411 adaptation for removal of bolts and to turn out srezny a bolt.
9. To remove a steering column and carefully to put on support.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn a steering wheel so that spokes were symmetrized concerning a vertical and were directed down (the provision of a steering wheel for rectilinear movement of the car).
2. To establish aligning plug in a casing of a steering column.
3. To establish a lath of the steering mechanism in the average situation corresponding to rectilinear movement of the car.
4. To turn the coupling of a steering shaft so that the opening axis for a coupling bolt settled down horizontally and from above in bulk.
5. Carefully to insert a shaft of a steering shaft into a coupling opening.
Prevention

It is necessary to support a steering column until it will not be fixed by a srezny bolt. It is forbidden to leave a steering column without a support.
6. To establish (without tightening) the following fixing details:
      – srezny plates on the dashboard;
      – a bolt of fastening of an arm of a casing of a steering column to the dashboard. To tighten a bolt of fastening of an arm of a steering column to the dashboard the moment of 22 Nanometers;
      – a coupling bolt of klemmovy connection of the coupling with steering shaft. (The bolt should be inserted into a smooth opening without a carving). To tighten srezny a bolt located to the left of a steering column, the moment of the demanded size;
      – new самоконтрящуюся a nut (with a washer), located to the right of steering колот and the moment of the demanded size.
7. To extend a steering shaft up (against the stop the ball bearing of a shaft). To tighten a coupling bolt klemmovy connection of the coupling of a steering shaft by the moment of 25 Nanometers.
8. To take out directing plug from a column casing, having left it on the helmsman to a shaft.
9. To attach electroconducting.
10. To attach a cable of a drive of the blocking device of the lock of ignition and the transmission selector (only for cars with automatic transmission).
11. To establish control levers indexes of turn and a screen wiper.
12. To check installation of operated wheels in situation for rectilinear movement.
13. Negative wire of the battery.
