The neutral provision of a lath corresponding to rectilinear movement of the car

After completion of any repair work with the steering mechanism it is necessary to check the neutral provision of a lath corresponding to installation of operated wheels for rectilinear movement of the car.

To adjust

Verification of the provision of a coupling bolt

AND. KLEMMOVOGO'S COUPLING BOLT OF CONNECTION OF THE COUPLING SHOULD SETTLE DOWN FROM ABOVE THE STEERING HALL, AND ITS AXIS SHOULD BE HORIZONTAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To establish a level of the control and measuring KM-476 adaptation between heads of steering drafts. Thus the pin of the adaptation should enter into deepening of a seat left (in the direction of the car) the rubber plug.
2. To hold a steering wheel in situation which corresponds to rectilinear movement of the car. At the neutral provision of a lath the size A is equal 325 mm.
3. To check observance of the following conditions:
      – the coupling bolt of klemmovy connection of the coupling should settle down from above a steering shaft, and its axis should be horizontal;
      – spokes of a steering wheel should be symmetrized concerning a vertical and to be directed down.
If the axis of a coupling bolt is located obliquely, assembly of the steering mechanism is made incorrectly (with shift on one or several teeths of a lath). In this case it is necessary to dismantle a shaft gear wheel and anew to assemble the mechanism. If the coupling bolt of the coupling is located horizontally, and spokes of a steering wheel несиммет ричны concerning a vertical (a deviation makes more than 5 degrees), it is necessary to remove a steering wheel from a steering shaft by means of stripper KM-210А, to center and establish it anew.
