17.7. Check of a regulator of brake forces

GENERAL INFORMATION

Necessary adaptations:

– manometer (double).

By means of manometers to check serviceability of regulators of brake forces. At check it is necessary to measure pressure at the same time in the wheel cylinders of a forward and back brake located on a diagonals. At first one contour of system, then the second is checked.

To measure
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn out the valve of production of air from one of back wheel cylinders and to attach instead of it the first manometer.
2. To turn out the valve of production of air from the forward wheel cylinder located on a diagonals, and to attach instead of it the second manometer.
3. To increase pressure in a hydraulic actuator, several times having strongly pressed a brake pedal. (The second manometer shows noncontrollable pressure which develops in system).
4. To establish pressure in brake system (on the second manometer) according to the test table. To check pressure in the back wheel cylinder on the first manometer.
Prevention

At achievement of size of pressure of 10 MPas of the indication of the first manometer will be inexact.


5. To attach manometers to wheel cylinders of the second diagonal contour and to inspect compliance of pressure with the test table.
