It is not recommended to rearrange the brake shoes which were in the use as it can break automatic adjustment of the brake mechanism and increase a free wheeling of a brake pedal.

When servicing drum-type brake mechanisms it is necessary to replace all details entering into a repair kit.

To grease details according to enclosed instructions.

It is forbidden to use for обдува and drying of details the compressed air from an industrial network as drops of oil containing in it can put out of action rubber consolidations.

After the work, connected with demontazhy or a detachment of any pipelines or hoses of a brake hydraulic actuator, it is necessary to remove air from the corresponding contour or from all brake system.

To replace brake shoes follows only a complete set on both brake mechanisms.

The moments of an inhaling of carving connections are given for dry, ungreased fixing details.

All repair work should be carried out on a pure workbench for an exception of pollution of details of brake system mineral oils, greasings and liquids.


Prevention

The material of brake slips contains the asbestos fibers, which hit in respiratory organs of the person hazardously to health. Therefore at carrying out servicing and repair of brake mechanisms it is necessary to exclude such operations, as cleaning of details of products of wear of slips by means of a dry brush or a stream of the compressed air, polishing of blocks etc., connected with a pyleobrazovaniye. For removal of small pylevidny particles from brake mechanisms it is necessary to use the damp fabric moistened with water.


To remove or disconnect

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To lift the car.
2. Back wheels. To mark the provision of back wheels concerning naves.
3. Nuts of a heat-shielding casing to put a casing on the exhaust silencer.
4. To release fastening of a cable of the parking brake.
5. To turn out the lock screw of a brake drum.
6. Brake drum.
At the complicated dismantle of a drum:
     – to be convinced that the parking brake is switched off;
     – to release fastening of a cable of the parking brake;
     – to take out a stopper 1 of an opening in a basic disk 4 and to move a screw-driver razzhimny the lever of the parking brake against the stop to a back brake shoe 6.
7. Top and bottom coupling springs 11, 12.
8. Spring of a regulator 15 and press lever of a regulator 16.
9. Regulator assembled 14.
10. Finger 3, spring 7 and washer of the 8th holder.

Prevention

Before installation of a brake drum it is necessary to be convinced that a nut 102 навернута on a core 101 up to the end. Thus the nut should not be jammed on a core carving.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To put greasing on ledges of a brake basic disk 4 in places of contact to blocks (see fig. Places of drawing of greasing on a basic brake disk).
2. Razzhimna the lever 18 of the parking brake to a tip of a driving cable.
3. A back brake shoe 6 on a basic disk 4, a finger, a spring and a washer of the holder. To check the correct provision of a cable of the parking brake.
4. Regulator 14, forward block 17 and bottom coupling spring 12. To tighten nuts of fastening of a heat-shielding casing.
Prevention

Not to stretch too strongly the bottom coupling spring 12. The spring 12 should settle down under an emphasis of a brake disk.


5. Finger, spring and washer of the holder.
6. Regulator 14.
6а. Completely to screw a regulator core in a nut.

7. Press the regulator lever 16 an axis and to put on a spring 15.
Prevention

Not to stretch too strongly a spring of the 15th regulator.

9. The top coupling spring, having fixed its ends to an earring 13 and a back block 6.
Prevention

Not to stretch too strongly the top coupling spring 12.


10. Brake reel 9 and lock screw 10.
