The case of a butterfly valve is attached to the inlet pipeline of the engine, fig. Butterfly valve case (Engine of 1,5 l of SOHC). The butterfly valve is intended for regulation of a consumption of the air arriving in the Engine, and its capacity. Management of a butterfly valve is carried out from an accelerator pedal by means of a mechanical drive. Idling the engine the butterfly valve is almost completely closed and dispensing of a stream of air is carried out by the idling valve. For prevention of an icing of a butterfly valve in cold weather cooling liquid is brought to the case of a zaslonka from a shirt of cooling of the engine. Liquid circulates on internal channels of the case of a butterfly valve and is taken away back in a cooling shirt. In the case of a butterfly valve the sensor of provision of a zaslonka (DDZ) is established. Besides, in the case before a zaslonka and behind it openings and unions for connection of vacuum hoses on which the razryazheniye is brought to various devices of the engine are executed.
