5.3. Modes of functioning of system


EBU carries out dispensing of the fuel arriving in the Engine, on the basis of processing of signals of several sensors. EBU supports some operating modes of MSVT which are described below.

Mode of start-up of the engine

At inclusion of ignition of EBU starts for two seconds the fuel pump which lifts pressure in fuel system. At the same time EBU processes signals of sensors of temperature of cooling liquid (DTZh) and the provision of a butterfly valve (DDZ) and counts demanded for engine start-up structure of a toplivovozdushny mix. The structure of a toplivovozdushny mix depends on temperature of cooling liquid and oт 1:1,5 can change at–36 ° C дo 1:14,7 at 94 ° C. EBU regulates amount of the fuel arriving in the inlet pipeline, at the expense of change of duration of phases of opening and closing of valves of nozzles. For management of electromagnetic valves of nozzles the electric signal of an alternating voltage is used.

Mode of a purge of cylinders

At strong enrichment of a toplivovozdushny mix and difficulty of start of the EBU engine provides possibility of a purge of cylinders for removal of superfluous fuel and drying of spark plugs. At complete opening throttle the zaslonka and frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine approximately to 400 rpm of EBU stops supply of fuel. If a little to cover a butterfly valve (extent of opening of a zaslonka should not exceed about 80 %), EBU will return MSVT in a mode of start-up of the engine.

Operating mode

The operating mode has two versions. EBU can operate MSVT in a mode with the closed or opened feedback (OS).


At engine start-up when frequency of a cranked shaft exceeds 400 rpm system starts to work in a mode from opened OS. In this EBU mode carries out fuel dispensing only on the basis of processing of signals of DTZh and DAD. The signal of DKK is not considered. EBU supports an operating mode from opened OS until the following conditions will be satisfied.

1) Tension of a signal of DKK starts to change that testifies about пригреве the sensor to working temperature.

2) The signal of DTZh corresponds to threshold value of temperature.

3) Passed the set period after engine start-up.


Concrete values of the parameters transferred above, depend on model of the engine and are written down in СППЗУ by EBU. At performance of all conditions of EBU passes to MSVT management in a mode from closed OS. In this mode fuel dispensing defined by duration of opening of valves of nozzles, is carried out on the basis of processing of signals of DKK in the fulfilled gases that allows EBU to support structure of a toplivovozdushny mix near optimal to value 1:14,7.

Acceleration mode

EBU reacts to fast increase in a corner of opening of a butterfly valve and speed of an air stream in the inlet pipeline increase in supply of fuel.

Delay mode

EBU reacts to reduction of a corner of opening of a butterfly valve and speed of an air stream in the inlet pipeline reduction of supply of fuel. At very fast otpuskaniye of a pedal of an accelerator of EBU can stop completely for some time supply of fuel in the Engine.

Mode of compensation of the category of the storage battery

At a voltage reduction of the EBU storage battery carries out compensation of reduction of energy of the spark category between electrodes of spark plugs a way:

– increases in duration of opening of fuel nozzles;
– increases in frequency of idling;
– corrections of operation of the block of ignition for increase in energy of the spark category.

Mode of shutdown of supply of fuel

At switching off of ignition of EBU completely stops supply of fuel. It excludes possibilities of operation of the engine with kalilny ignition after ignition switching off. Supply of fuel also stops in the absence of signals from the ignition block that testify immovabilities of a cranked shaft. It allows to prevent receipt in the Engine of superfluous fuel and violation of normal work of spark plugs.
