5.4.15. Fuel nozzles


Installation of a fuel nozzle



For reduction of risk of emergence of a fire and a travmirovaniye of the personnel it is necessary to replace at each dismantling of nozzles sealing round rings new.

To remove or disconnect

1. Negative wire of the storage battery.
2. To dump superfluous pressure in fuel system.
3. The distributive pipeline assembled from a head of cylinders. Dismantle of the distributive pipeline can be made without a detachment of feeding and drain fuel pipelines.

To disassemble

1. To shift a collar of a nozzle and to deduce it from gearing with nest ledges, to dissolve with fingers a collar and to remove it. The collar is not subject to a reuse.
2. To take out from a nest a nozzle assembled.
3. To remove from a nozzle both sealing rings and to throw out them as rings are not subject to a reuse.

To collect

1. To grease new sealing a ring with engine oil and to establish them on the nozzle case.
2. To establish a new collar on the nozzle case. The collar should settle down parallel to the electric socket.
3. To insert nozzles assembled into nests of the distributive pipeline so that collars and electric sockets were outside. To establish a nozzle coaxially with a nest, to enter a collar into gearing with ledges of a nest and then completely to move a nozzle into a nest against the stop.

To examine

To include ignition and, without starting the Engine, to check tightness of connections of fuel pipelines.
