5.4.21. System of compulsory ventilation of a case (SPVK)

GENERAL INFORMATION

System of compulsory ventilation of a case (SPVK)

1. VALVE OF VENTILATION OF THE CASE
2. VENTILATING HOSE

The term "karterny gases" designates gases which pass through gaps between walls of cylinders and pistons, and also through gaps of piston rings. From cylinders in a case of the engine break both combustion products, and the compressed working mix. Karternye gases contain a large amount of oxide of carbon and hydrocarbons. SPVK is intended for an exception of an exit of karterny gases in the atmosphere. The system works as follows. At an open butterfly valve when the razryazheniye in an inlet collector is insignificant, the valve of ventilation of a case (KVK) is completely open. It is provided with action of a spring of the valve. Gases freely pass Karternye through KVK in an inlet collector where mix up with fresh air, and then arrive in engine cylinders. At a high razryazheniye in an inlet collector the section of KVK through passage decreases under action I eat razryazheniye. Intake of karterny gases through KVK in an inlet collector decreases.

The leading role in dispensing of a consumption of the karterny gases arriving in an inlet collector, belongs to KVK.

For maintenance of steady idling of the engine at the closed butterfly valve of KVK reduces intake of karterny gases in an inlet collector.

At violation of normal operating conditions of the engine and excessive increase in amount of karterny gases branch of a part of karterny gases on a ventilating hose in an air purifier for further combustion in engine cylinders is provided.

The contamination and zabivaniye dirt of the valve or a ventilating hose can lead to the following consequences:

– rough and unstable operation of the engine idling;
– spontaneous stops of the engine or low frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling;
– leakages of engine oil;
– pollution of engine oil by oxidation products, emergence of a deposit in oil.

Violation of tightness of the valve or ventilating hose can lead to the following consequences:

– rough and unstable operation of the engine idling;
– spontaneous stops of the engine idling;
– high frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling.
