19.9.6. Filter-vlagopoglotitelya installation


The filter located in the liquid pipeline, allows to increase time of operation of KB system between washings by coolant R-11. It is necessary to establish the filter after a repeated contamination of a throttle opening or at compressor replacement because of jamming of mobile details, the filter includes a grid and a thin filtering element. The grid detains large particles, and filtering element – small. Refrigerating oil is cleared of mechanical impurity by a filtering element. The filter establish in the pipeline between the condenser and the evaporator. There are two versions of the filter.

1) The filter without a throttle, established in a zone of a high pressure before a throttle branch pipe. It is preferable option.

2) The filter with a throttle. In this case the filter settles down in a zone of low pressure after a throttle opening. When using it such as the filter a throttle branch pipe dismantle.

To remove or disconnect
1. To measure length of tubes under a scrap:
а) the filter without a throttle – 51 mm;
б) the filter with a throttle – 70 mm.
2. To discharge system from a coolant.
3. To cut off the tube end at right angle by means of a trumpet cutting torch.
4. To remove a file external agnails.
5. To remove a file internal agnails. Metal shaving should not get in a tube.

The metal shavings which have got to KB system, will result in fast wear of details and a system exit out of operation.

To establish or attach

1. Switch.
2. Electric contacts of the switch and pipelines on a back cover of the compressor.
3. Negative wire of the storage battery.
4. To pump out air and to charge system.
5. Connection of the filter to aluminum pipelines: the instruction is enclosed in a bag with a tool set.
5а. To discharge system from a coolant.
5б. Whenever possible to choose a place установ ки the filter in a zone where it is possible использо вать additional fastenings (for example, on a wing mudguard).
5в. To cut out a pipeline site in length of 120 mm. To remove agnails and sawdust since the pipeline ends.
5г. To insert the tube end into an union opening against the stop.
5д. To tighten a nut by hand. Then with a wrench to tighten a nut on 3/4 turns, holding from rotation the union case the second wrench.
5е. To connect similar to the second the union to the pipeline.
5ж. To pump out air and to charge system a coolant in described above sequence. At a charging to increase quantity of a coolant by 420 ml in comparison with nominal refueling capacity for compensation of additional volume of the case of the filter. If the system was strongly polluted, replacement of a throttle branch pipe can be demanded.
