19.7. Relay and switches


Switch of a high pressure

The switch of a high pressure (the pressure relay) is located on a back cover of the compressor and connected to the target pressure head highway. The switch protects the compressor from excessive increase of pressure of forcing and reduces coolant losses via the reduktsionny valve. Normally closed relay of pressure breaks off an electric chain of the compressor at achievement of pressure of forcing of 2965 kPas of ± 138 kPas. At pressure decrease approximately to level of 1375 kPas of ± 345 kPas of the relay again turns on the compressor.

Switch of low pressure

On some cars for предохра the neniya of the compressor is used the switch of low pressure (the pressure relay) which can settle down in a back cover of the compressor or join the hydraulic highway where the liquid coolant circulates. The switch works at losses and decrease in a charge of a coolant in Quarter system. This switch also prevents turning on of the compressor at low temperature of air.

Switch of the compressor and signaling device of load of the steering hydraulic booster

On some cars steady frequency of idling of the engine обеспечи is howled by normally switched on switch of the compressor reacting to increase of loading of the pump of the steering hydraulic booster. When maneuvering on a place when pressure increases in the hydraulic booster, the compressor is automatically switched off. In other cases использу ется a signaling device of load of the steering amplifier (normally switched off relay of pressure), working at increase in pressure of forcing of the pump of the hydraulic booster. EBU of the engine which supports steady frequency of idling reacts to a signal of the relay.

The compressor switch at complete opening of a butterfly valve

The switch located in a drive of a butterfly valve, breaks off an electric chain of the relay of inclusion of electromagnetic coupling and disconnects the compressor at complete opening of a butterfly valve. On the cars equipped with system of multipoint injection of fuel, at complete opening of a butterfly valve the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (DDZ) sends a signal to EBU which in the subsequent operates inclusion of coupling of the compressor.

Relay of a delay of central air of air

On some cars there is a relay of a delay of KB system which disconnects the compressor during engine start-up.
