Distance measurement from a coupling pedal to a steering wheel

 

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To measure distance from the middle of an overlay of a pedal of coupling to a rim of a steering wheel. To write down result of measurement.
2. Completely to press a coupling pedal. Repeatedly to measure distance from the middle of an overlay of a pedal of coupling to a rim of a steering wheel. To write down result of measurement.
3. To subtract the first result of measurement from the second and to define a course of a pedal of coupling.
The nominal size of a course of a pedal of coupling makes 138–146 mm.
If the actual size of a course of a pedal oversteps the bounds of the specified range, it is necessary to remove a clip 2 and by means of rotation of a nut 4 in this or that party to adjust length of a cable and size of a course of a pedal.
After adjustment to establish into place a clip 2.
Prevention

At the correct adjustment of a course the pedal of coupling should settle down above a brake pedal. The free wheeling of a pedal of coupling should be absent.

In process of wear of overlays of a conducted disk the pedal of coupling rises above.
