1.5.2. At each filling of fuel
Leakages of any operational liquids (except liquid of a washer of a windscreen) testify also existence enough serious malfunctions in systems and car units. At once eliminate all reasons of the found leakages of operational liquids. Oil level in the engine Check level of engine oil and if necessary finish it to norm. It is best of all to supervise level of engine oil on the heated-up engine. After a stop of the engine wait some minutes in order that oil merged in the pallet. Then check oil level by means of oil щупа. Wipe dry a core щупа and insert it against the stop into place. Then again take out oil щуп and check oil level. Level of oil should be in a working zone with "Operating Range" inscription. If necessary add oil in the Engine and finish oil level to norm. Do not fill in superfluous oil as it can put the Engine out of action. After definition of level of oil insert oil щуп into place. If control of level of oil is made on the cold engine, do not start the Engine before check of level of oil. Otherwise results of measurement will not correspond to true level of oil as cold dense oil flows down in the pallet rather slowly. Level and condition of cooling liquid Check level of cooling liquid in a broad tank and if necessary finish it to norm. At pollution of liquid or emergence of rusty color replace cooling liquid. Level of liquid of a washer of a windscreen Check liquid level in a tank of a washer and if necessary finish it to norm. |
