20.3. Designation of color of wires

GENERAL INFORMATION

As electroconducting of the car consists of a set of wires, in order to avoid mistakes at installation and repair all wires have the color coding. The reduced designations of color of the wires are given in the table, applied in electric circuits. Complete designation of a wire except the alphabetic coding of color includes still information on section of a wire.

In designation of a wire the area of section of the wire, the first letter give figures – the second corresponds to the basic, and – to a complementary color of a wire.
